I got to be known very early on in my career as a groomer that could handle difficult behaviour cases. Initially I was not aware of what exactly I was doing that was contributing to this success. So, I began taking note of the responses of all these dogs to the techniques that I was using. What I found was that with all temperament types & with wide ranges of behaviour issues, from extremely fearful to extremely aggressive, the same patterns of responses were becoming obvious. From there, I connected with local dog behaviour experts, continued to study renowned Dog Psychology authors & have strived to apply all I've learned in my career. I have come to believe that every dog is "groom-able" & that every dog can get to the point where they can enjoy the process. (Yes, really!)
